The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Bordereau Technician to DCA and Desktop team in by allocating, monitoring, handling and authorising claims in line with agreed client requirements and delegated authority levels.

Our DCA and Desktop team allocate, monitor, handle and authorise claims in line with agreed client requirements and delegated authority levels as well as managing claims from first notification of loss through to conclusion, including payment management and MI reporting.

Remote working is available for this role. Alternatively, hybrid working options are available if preferred, with 2 days based at our Head Office in Kings Hill, Kent and 3 days working from home.  Hours of work will be 9am to-5pm, Monday to Friday.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to our DCA Manger, you’ll create, check, and manage DCA bordereaux reconciliation of payments and incoming funds in line with our agreed client service level agreements. Once payment is validated, you’ll update all information on our claims administration database and issues payment letters in line with agreed SLA’s.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review, check and validate claim payments from DCA funds and add all payment data to the relevant claim record.
  • Ensure money laundering documentation is matches payment request.
  • Liaise with the handling adjuster to manage any data discrepancies or Insurer authority on non-delegated authority cases that are not clear on claim record or are incorrect.
  • Seek Insurer approval on non-delegated authority fee payment requests in line with any Client specific requirements.
  • Review and ensure payments are accurate and made in accordance with Client requirements, monitoring funds requesting top-up funds when low, escalating to Clients when required.
  • Review, check and allocate incoming funds from bank statements daily to reconciliation sheets and to inform accounts thereafter.
  • Validate month end bank statements to match reconciliations on each TPA fund.
  • Review each bank account and report to line manager weekly with update identifying any issues with the accounts or funds.
  • Always ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements are adpoted, highlighting any issues to the Operational Support and Compliance Manager.

About you:

Our ideal candidate will come from a Lloyd background or will be able to demonstrate experience in working with Lloyds operating standard. Experience or knowledge of claims handling will be an advantage.

You’ll also have:

  • Solid experience with MS Exel, including look ups and formatting data
  • Working knowledge of V5 and other Lloyds management information production
  • Accuracy of data, with attention to detail at all times
